During the year 2018 the Centre of Registers and Information Systems (RIK) concluded a study on user experience and user needs for the new land register management.

In the end of May, the winning company Flowit Estonia OÜ has handed over the final version of the study on the envisioned system architecture for the new land register information system (LIS).

The Centre of Registers and Information Systems (RIK) has announced a call for tender on Friday, on April 13, for conducting a study on the user experience and user needs as well as for developing a user interface prototype for the new open-sourse land register management system.

On January 19, 2018 the announcement for a tender was published for carrying out a study for designing the best architectural solution for the new land register information system (LIS). 

In 2017, preparations were made to ensure funding for preliminary analyzes and subsequent development of the core functionality of the land register information system.
