User Experience of LIS Management Software

The Centre of Registers and Information Systems (RIK) has announced a call for tender on Friday, on April 13, for conducting a study on the user experience and user needs as well as for developing a user interface prototype for the new open-sourse land register management system. The new land register information system is expected to be launced on 2020.
The informing event regarding the procurement took place on April 18 at RIK's premises in Tallinn, Lõkke St 4. Procurement documents have been published in the Estonian Public Procurement Register: https://riigihanked.riik.ee/register/hange/195667.
The purpose of the procurement is to develop a user-centered concept of the land register management software, based on modern technology solutions, which will be later integrated into the software development project.
The software development project for the land register information system LIS will be implemented in several stages over a period of three years. The project will be funded primarily by the European Regional Development Fund.
The LIS project will result in a new generation land register IS, which will replace the current electronic land register in use since 2005.
